Christmas
guests recently arrived on Papa Stronsay: “Over 87 swans
a swimming.” According to Stronsay ornothologist Mr.
J. Holloway, of the Stronsay Bird Sanctuary, the swans have arrived
from Iceland and could remain on the loch until March. (Dec. 2000) |
