The new bell of St John the Baptist hangs above the Bethlehem bell. They are rung in tandem every Sunday.

new windows for brick building

John Friel, along with Br Theophane, has replaced the old windows of St Michael's House with new double-glazed windows, which assure that it is now draught-free.

Back home in Papa Stronsay we prepared to hoist the flag. The 15-metretall flagpole from the Sheppey Monastery has been relocated to the island.

St Joseph who, over the years, has provided for our monastery, often in extraordinary ways, takes a place of honour overlooking the Papay Sound.
