Yousef Marie, C.SS.R. on the day of his perpetual profession,
15 March 2004. Br Yousef Marie (Yousef is Arabic for Joseph)
was born in Sydney, Australia, the eldest son of Yousef
and Norma Abdel-Ahad. Brother was born in the Oriental
Rite of the Catholic Church and is a fluent Arabic speaker.
Before he entered the monastery he worked as his father’s
assistant in the family joinery business. |
