Monastery Highlander Cattle

Laudate Dominum, bestiae et universa pecora.... “Praise the Lord from the earth, all ye beasts and cattle.” (Ps 148)
The highland cow Breda protectively looks after her first calf, Boris.

“He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.” (Mt 13)
The Brothers work hard at bailing the hay. The haystacks had to be put into a paddock
where the highland cattle, friendly but frisky, could not knock them over.
